According to the latest research from Strategy Analytics, global Microsoft smartphone shipments grew 36 percent sequentially to reach 2.7 million units in the fourth quarter of 2011. Nokia captured top position as the world’s number one Microsoft smartphone vendor for the first time ever.

Microsoft tenía un concurso en CES llamado “Smoked by a Windows Phone $100 challenge.”, en el que básicamente cualquiera con un smartphone competía contra un experto en WP7. El reto consistía en tomar una foto y enviarla por twitter, el primero en lograrlo gana.

Siendo justos, no solo es el teléfono, también cuenta la rapidez y habilidad del usuario. Aún así, Microsoft no le fue del todo mal, el récord para el día fue de 30 victorias, 3 derrotas y un empate.

El Bati-teléfono

Nokia acaba de sacar un modelo especial en cantidades limitadas (40 solamente) del Lumia 800, con un logo de Batman tallado en la parte posterior del teléfono. Este equipo es inspirado en Dark Knight Rises (que sale el verano que viene). No es la primera vez que Nokia hace algo así, cuando salió The Matrix, fue tan grande la demanda por el teléfono que se usó en la película, un 8110 con una modificación que lo hacía slider, que sacaron el modelo 7110 con este mecanismo.

No hagan fila que nada mas van a hacer cuarenta unidades, a lo mejor después salen mas.
