Microsoft to open store at Plaza las Américas, San Juan, Puerto Rico

Microsoft announced on their Twitter account, that they will open one of their retail stores in Plaza las Americas in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

If you want to buy a PC, this is going to be a great option. At their stores, Microsoft sells only Signature PCs. What this means, is that those PCs will not have any other software installed (crapware). You can go to their page and take a look. There are also rumors of an Apple Store coming to San Juan, but in typical Apple fashion, nothing is confirmed. We can only hope.

Cool new feature, I wish Facebook would do the same for their app. Now, everything stays synced up between iPhone and iPad.

Tweetbot 2.0 para iPhone.

Tweetbot sacó la versión 2.0 de su aplicación para iPhone y con ella trajo varios cambios.

Por fin llega Tweetbot para iPad.

Microsoft le tira a Apple por el iBooks Author.

En el EULA (End User License Agreement, lo que aparece al principio de la instalación que nadie lee y le dan accept sin pensarlo dos veces) de iBooks Author, dice lo siguiente:

If your Work is provided for free (at no charge), you may distribute the Work by any available means;
(ii) if your Work is provided for a fee (including as part of any subscription-based product or service), you may only distribute the Work through Apple.

Microsoft tenía un concurso en CES llamado “Smoked by a Windows Phone $100 challenge.”, en el que básicamente cualquiera con un smartphone competía contra un experto en WP7. El reto consistía en tomar una foto y enviarla por twitter, el primero en lograrlo gana.

Siendo justos, no solo es el teléfono, también cuenta la rapidez y habilidad del usuario. Aún así, Microsoft no le fue del todo mal, el récord para el día fue de 30 victorias, 3 derrotas y un empate.
