Apple updates iWork to version 9.2

What’s included:

Keynote 5.2, Pages 4.2, and Numbers 2.2 are updated to take advantage of the following features available on OS X Mountain Lion:

• iCloud: Store documents in iCloud, and keep them automatically up-to-date across your Mac, iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, and the web. Changes made to a document on one device, automatically appear on all your other devices. This requires iWork for iOS 1.6.1 or later to be installed on your iOS device.
• Dictation: Speak words, numbers, or sentences, and watch them appear in your presentation, document, or spreadsheet.

The iWork apps are also enhanced to take advantage of the Retina display on new Mac hardware, so presentations, documents, and spreadsheets appear sharper and more vibrant.

This update is recommended for users of iWork 9.0 and later.

Apple updates iMovie, iPhoto and Safari

This just appeared on my MacBook running Lion:

 

It brings stability and security updates, as well as bringing these apps to be Mountain Lion compatible and giving some of the Safari features to Lion users. It’s available now through Software Update.

Apple releases MacBook Air and MacBook Pro Update 1.0 for latest models.

Mozilla releases Firefox 14.

Firefox Blog:

Firefox has new features that make browsing more secure and Web applications like games more powerful.

We automatically make your Google searches secure in Firefox to protect your data from potentially prying eyes, like network administrators when you use public or shared WiFi networks. Google is currently the only search engine that allows Firefox to make your searches private, but we look forward to supporting additional search engines with this feature in the future.

Also, it now properly supports Full Screen Mode on Lion.

iPhoto updated to version 9.3.1

What’s New in Version 9.3.1
- Addresses a problem during the migration of albums from MobileMe Gallery that may cause photos to be moved from their original events into a new event called “From MobileMe”
- Fixes an issue that in rare cases could cause iPhoto to hang when upgrading libraries
