James Kendrick, ZDNet:
Apple has just ushered in the era of the super high-resolution computer display. This is likely going to become the expected resolution, and OEMs are going to have to move to drop the standard stuff and go super high-def. There’s not going to be a good reason for consumers to settle for less.
Agree 100%, even Apple computers will have to be super hi-def. Imagine spending a couple of hours doing stuff on your iPad and then going back to a laptop or monitor that is not up to par with the resolution. In fact, after this weekend, many people will notice and think, “wow, that laptop screen is really crappy”, even though it’s really good, it will look like crap against the iPad.
